We're currently accepting submissions for our next Anthology: Axioms of Power's Requisition

We're diving into magic and the toll or cost it requires of those who seek and use it.​

Story / Poem Requirements

  • Submissions open NOW through March 31, 2023

  • Stories must be 6000 words or fewer

  • Stories or poems must be previously unpublished

  • Must have an element of magic (power, spells, etc.) and have a particular focus on the cost, price, sacrifice, etc. one pays to gain or use it.

  • If accepted, author grants non-exclusive rights to Morian Press for publication in "Axiom" (i.e., you keep the rights to publish elsewhere after "Axiom" has been released)

  • Payment for stories, if accepted for publication, is $.0075 per word

  • Payment for poems is $10

We're currently accepting story and art submissions for articles for the debut edition of our magazine, INSPIRATUS.

ARTICLES:

We want your article! These are the types we're looking for:

  • Interviews with fantasy artists or authors

  • Fantasy-based events (conventions, festivals, etc.)

  • Reviews of fantasy movies or series

  • Artist or Author lifestyle articles

  • Others (submit your article and we'll see!)

ART:

  • Original (human-made / no AI) fantasy themed art

  • Non-explicit images (PG-13 level max)

  • Can be previously published or commissioned art

  • Must be your own work

Guidelines / Payment

  • Submissions open until March 31, 2023

  • Articles must be 3000 words or fewer

  • Payment for articles, if accepted for publication, is $.0050 per word

  • Payment for photos (that you own the rights to) that go with the story, if accepted, is $4.00 for each image

  • Payment for original digital fantasy art work is the following based on what we selected it for:

    • Front cover = $75​

    • Back cover = $50

    • Inside full-page = $25

    • Inside half-page = $15

    • All others = $6
